Magistrate Ann McLennan remanded a miner to prison yesterday after he was charged with having a quantity of marijuana in his possession.
Oswald Moses, 37, from North Ruimveldt denied the charge which alleged on March 03, at Georgetown, he had 235 grams of cannabis of the purpose of trafficking.
Police Prosecutor Deniro Jones did not present the court with any facts about what occurred on the day in question, citing that investigations are still ongoing.
He will return to court on March 19.
