Melissa Kyte wins female 3-mile Mash road race in Berbice
Melissa Kyte crossed the finish line ahead of Denise McKenzie to win a specially arranged

3-mile athletic road race organised as part of Mashramani celebrations in the Ancient County.
The two athletes were presented with cash and trophies, the race ended in front of the Shav’eh Restaurant Night Club and Bar at Rose Hall Town Bloomfield.
The race was also open to male athletes but none showed up to compete in the event which attracted sponsorship from Sha’veh Beer Garden, Benjamin Sports, Banks DIH Limited, CJ Lewis and Sons, Colin El Cock Racing Stables, Jumbo Jet Racing Stables, Shabba Carrington, Archway Snackette, Dennis Deoroop and Simple Royal Racing Stables among others.
