Mashramani activities in Berbice are set to culminate today with the usual costume band and float parade through the streets of New Amsterdam.
A number of costume bands and floats from Georgetown and different parts of the country are expected to travel to New Amsterdam for what is usually the last lap of the Mashramani celebrations.
On the cards also for this weekend at the end of the Mash tramp and costume band parade, all roads will lead to the New Amsterdam Fire Station tarmac for the Mackeson /Shocking Vibes 12th anniversary Black and Red after Mash affair.
Some of the best sounds in the country are expected to be in the house including Shocking Vibes, Stone Love, and Mystical Movements. They will be playing for space alongside City Vibes of New York, D J Dauren and D J Shrimpy.
Special Mackeson deals will be available all night long, with plenty bucket deals and giveaways.
Fans will get a chance to mix and mingle with Ansa Mc Al, Tent and Things, Mobile One, Impressive Signs, Flood yard records and the Shocking Vibes family among others.
With thousands of fans expected to be in Berbice for the Berbice Mashramani activity through the streets of New Amsterdam, a number of other events are also on the cards.
