Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry bonded a man to keep the peace after he appeared before her on an assault charge.
Paul DeWeaver, a welder, made use of threatening language to Roxanne James.
It was further alleged that he unlawfully assaulted Keisha Kramer. Additionally, he was charged with behaving disorderly at a police station.
DeWeaver, who was unrepresented, pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him. He told the court that he has no pending or previous matters before a court of law.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The matter continues on April 14.
