Grove Hi Tech will be aiming to stem the tide of defeat and end on a high when they play their final game in the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport (MCYS) sponsored East Bank Football Association (EBFA) Under-11
Pee Wee League, today at the Grove Playfield.
Grove will match skills with the winless Mocha Champs who are yet to register a point in the two matches they have played to date. Mocha too will be harboring ideas of coming off the mark which makes the game an interesting affair.
From their four games, Grove have two wins and an equal amount of losses for 6 points, two behind leaders Craig Primary who are on 8 from a similar amount of games. The opening game today from 10:30hrs is anticipated to be a keen contest between Herstelling Raiders and Agricola Red Triangle.
Herstelling like Agricola, have lost one game apiece and while Agricola will play their final game today, Herstelling still has a game in hand. Full points for either side will enhance their chances of staking a claim for the winning trophy.
A single point separates the two sides, Herstelling on 6 and Agricola 5. Both sides have played stiff defence to date having let in only one goal each.
