Activities are slated to get underway Sunday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue, and participating schools are St Joseph’s High, New Campbellville Secondary, Christ Church Secondary, Queenstown Secondary and North Ruimveldt Multilateral.
The games will be played on the 100 square boards and the top three players in the schools’ competition will receive prizes while all participants will receive certificates donated by Jiawanram’s Printery, Belair Park.
The top five finishers in the senior category will also be tangibly rewarded with trophies and cash incentives. Registration begins at 09:30hrs while the first draught would be moved half an hour later.
