Today, golfers will be pitting their skills against each other at the Annual exciting Ansa McAl Ltd. sponsored Golf tournament at the Lusignan Golf Course with Tee-off time set for 12:00 noon.
A record number of participants are expected as this eagerly awaited competition marks the Club’s third tournament for the year.
Ansa McAL (Guyana), a subsidiary of the Ansa McAL Group of Companies – a company headquartered in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, and one of the largest conglomerates in the Caribbean,- has been supporting golf in Guyana for over 10 years now, and continues to be one of the very reliable sponsors of tournaments for the Lusignan Golf Club.
The Group’s business operations span 8 sectors throughout the Caribbean including Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, Guyana, Grenada and the United States of America, and include: Automotive, Beverage, Distribution, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Media, Retail and Services. The group possesses a diverse workforce of approximately 6,000 employees.
Club President David Mohamad cited the Ansa McAl tournament as one of the more significant highlights on the Golf calendar each year, and is extremely appreciative of the continued support from that company.
