Long time sponsor of the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club, the Berbice Bridge Company Inc. has renewed its sponsorship of three major activities of Guyana’s leading youth and sports organisation.
Administrative Assistant of the Company, Ms Bibi Ali handed over a cheque for an undisclosed amount to Secretary/CEO of the Club, Hilbert Foster during a simple presentation ceremony on Thursday last.
Foster stated that the sponsorship would be channeled towards sponsorship of the 2015 Tribute to Retired Teachers Programme and will also assist with the Silver Jubilee Souvenir Magazine and the Silver Jubilee Tribute to Heroes Awards Programme.
Foster, hailed the support of the Company and expressed gratitude to its Chief Executive Officer Mr. Omadat D. Samaroo for his support over the years. Four retired teachers would be selected by the Guyana Teachers Union and drawn from both Regions 5 and 6 and rewarded for their outstanding contribution to education and sports.
CEO Foster also disclosed that the club would be publishing a 48 page souvenir magazine for its Silver Jubilee anniversary, while outstanding members of the club over the past twenty-five years would be honoured during the Tribute to Heroes Awards Programme.
He proudly stated that the club’s Silver Jubilee celebrations would not only be a memorable one but one that would be unmatched in the history of any youth and sports organisation in Guyana.
Administrative Assistant of the Berbice Bridge Company Inc, Ms Bibi Ali praised the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club for the outstanding work it has been doing for youths while stating that her company was pleased to be associated with Guyana’s best.
She wished the club more success in the future and expressed confidence that all the projects sponsored by her company would be successfully organised.
