The GUMDAC Annual Open Doubles Badminton Tournament which started Monday at the Queen’s College Badminton Courts concluded on Wednesday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall in the Men Doubles Quarters, Semi-Finals and Finals.
As expected the top National Players all reached the Semi-Finals in fine form and Guyana’s two top Men’s players Narayan Ramdhani & Nicholas Ali came out the winners once again. Narayan Ramdhani & Nicholas Ali defeated Jonathan Mangra & Avinash Odit: 21-11, 21-23, 21-15 to claim the Men’s Doubles title.

Men Doubles Quarter Finals:
Deodat Etwaroo & Raymond Khalil defeated Darell Carpenay & Ernesto Choo-A-Fat: 21-23, 18-21, 21-8
Jonathan Mangra & Avinash Odit defeated William Holder & Haymant Ramdhani: 21-15, 20-22, 21-15
Men Doubles Semi-Finals:
Narayan Ramdhani & Nicholas Ali defeated Deodat Etwaroo & Raymond Khalil: 21-13, 21-6
Jonathan Mangra & Avinash Odit defeated Gokarn Ramdhani & George Melville: 21-12, 21-14
Men Doubles Finals:
Narayan Ramdhani & Nicholas Ali defeated Jonathan Mangra & Avinash Odit: 21-11, 21-23, 21-15
The Presentation will be held on Monday 16th of February 2015 at 6:30pm.
