With a commendable average of 12.9 per player, Patron of the Guyana Rugby Football Union Christopher ‘Kit’ Nascimento told this newspaper, following the conclusion of the Beep Test yesterday afternoon in the National Park, how satisfied he is with the noticeable improvement of the players’ fitness.
The national rugby team that is in preparation to participate in the Hong Kong Sevens seen undergoing a Beep Test yesterday at the National Park.
The Guyana national ruggers are currently in preparation for the Hong Kong Sevens Tournament and in addition to Nascimento, Head Coach Theodore Henry and Fitness Instructor Barrington Browne both expressed satisfaction with the progress the players have made since last week.
Additionally, the Ladies team has been busy getting ready to return to the NACRA Tournament and they too have been turning in some commendable results in the Beep Test, all to the satisfaction of the coaching staff. Sessions continue daily at the National Park.
