The Upper Demerara Cricket Association has secured sponsorship for their first competition for 2015.
According to President of the UDCA Bradley Fredricks the competition would be a knockout. “Sixteen clubs would be vying for the Cup and it is a T20 knockout competition for both Male and female teams. The males would be playing hardball and the females would be playing softball, even though we are trying to introduce the females to tapeball.”
The competition commences on March 07th, 2015 and will be played on weekends at Maria Elizabeth, Christianburg and Dora grounds. (Jacquey Bourne)
