Sometimes things don’t always go right because wha right fuh one might not be right fuh de other. Dem boys seh that when de government decide fuh expand de Cheddi Jagan International Airport it didn’t have money but up comes a Chinee man waving money and dem tek.
Well a woman deh in court fuh passing a counterfeit $5,000 bill. She tell de magistrate that she didn’t have money but up comes a Chinee man waving money and she tek. Now she get charge. She spend de money in de wrong place.
Is de same thing when de government come waving money hollering “We care”. Nuff people tek but dem should charge dem same people because de money was to buy things fuh de school children but most of dem people buy food. De only thing is that nobody didn’t get charge when dem go in de shop fuh buy de food.
De same thing happening wid light bill and water bill. Dem boys seh that dem government minister don’t pay no bill but when poor people don’t pay dem does get cut off and then dem does get charge.
Things never fair when people poor. But as dem boys seh, is de government set up things like that. De aim is to fill up de jail suh that when de time come dem wouldn’t have room fuh de big ones.
Is de same thing wid de taxes but that is another story. Wha dem boys really thinking about is de Marriott. After de government put in de first US$20 million, Brassington seh that dem waiting fuh money from Republic Bank and from de foreign investors.
Now all of a sudden de hotel done and de money still ain’t come from de foreign investors or from de special investor. Whey de money come from? Is not that dem boys ain’t know but when dem talk people does seh that dem lie and dem wicked.
De money come from dem big ones who get help from dem boss when he was president.
Dem tek so much that dem got to find things to do wid it suh dem build a hotel. De profit is dem own and dem ain’t got to pay back.
Dem do de same thing wid de Berbice Bridge. Dem tek money from de NIS and when is time to share dividend dem refuse to give NIS any. That is how people does thief and all de poor people can do is to sit and dem can’t seh nutten.
