Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Traffic recorded victories when the Guyana Police Force (GPF) Headquarters Inter Department dominoes competition commenced recently at Police Sports Club, Eve Leary.
CID marked 97 games to beat Immigration 73 and PRO 55 in their encounter. Judy Sandiford and Munilall Persaud scored the maximum 18 games each for the winners while Suraj Singh and Devendra Singh supported with 16 apiece. Kevin Archer chalked up the maximum 18 for Immigration and Clarence Green 13, for PRO.
Traffic rattled up 82 to overcome Mountain Branch 76 and Quarter Masters Store Combined lagging behind on 65. Nyron Hassan led Traffic with the maximum 18, Harold De Vira and Floyd Reddock chipped in with 15 each.
Carl Saul achieved 18 for Mountain Branch while Elizabeth Jacobs and Samantha Boson scored 16 and 15 respectively for QMS Combined. Action was slated to continue last evening.
