Politicians does put dem foot in dem mouth plenty time but is only some of dem got sense and can think fast. Tek de case when Burnham was talking at a political meeting. Somebody heckle how he banning everything.
Burnham like to think that he quick pun he foot suh quick as a whistle, he tell de person in de crowd that he ain’t buy rope.
He didn’t bargain fuh de man smartness. De man tell he that rope is a thing that mek Judas ain’t deh in de world today. Burnham smart as ever reply, “Indeed Judas went out and hanged himself.”
The man tell Burnham, “Go thou and do likewise.” De meeting bruck up.
Sometimes some of dem politicians don’t have to think. Ashni go in Nigel’s supermarket de other day fuh buy bread. He tell de salesgirl that he only want half a loaf. De girl tell he that dem don’t sell half loaf bread but Ashni insist that he must get wha he paying for.
De girl tell he that she can’t sell he half of a loaf suh he demand fuh see Nigel. De girl lef and go to Nigel.
“Bass, some jackass come in de supermarket and demanding that I sell he half loaf of bread.” Same time she tun round and see Ashni standing behind she and quick as a whistle she continue, “And this gentleman want to buy de other half.”  Ashni get through.
But Anil prove to be de smart one. He guh pun de campaign trail and he walk wid Ashni and Odinga. De meeting was at Blairmont. He talk till he get hoarse then he announce that Blairmont is de best place on earth, that he gun always come back.
A man in de crowd ask he what about Bath Settlement. Right away he seh, “That place got sheer whores and cricketers.”
Ashni whisper that he wife come from Bath Settlement. Anil get a shock but as dem boys seh, he is not a lawyer fuh nutten.
He watch Ashni full in he face and ask he wha cricket team he wife use to play in.
Talk half and think quick or end up in trouble.
