Dear Editor,
I am a wife and a mother of four. My husband and two other members of the Guyana Police Force were dismissed for one box of ammunition that went missing at the Prime Minister’s residence.
The matter was investigated by the CID. They carry out checks at my residence and at the home of the two other officers. Nothing was found.
On the 2nd January, 2015 they were told that their services were terminated. These officers were never stripped of the rank or even given the benefits of the doubt that they were innocent. They ranks have more than 17,18 and 20 years respectively to the Guyana Police Force and I really wish if someone could help them to get this matter sorted out. They have not received their benefits from the force. Please help.
