Under the new ownership of Fazil Mirza, the Park Vue Hotel and Lounge was officially re-launched this past Friday at its Farm, East Bank Demerara location, with the announcement of their Mash Up the Bank Celebration.
For the hotel’s new phase, Mirza aims to improve customer service. He said that it is an area of the country’s hotel industry that needs much work.
“Our new vision is to improve customer service because I’ve noticed that it’s a big problem in Guyana.” said Mirza. He further said that the hotel’s biggest problem is that it is still not well known. The new owner is currently working on vitalising Park Vue’s image and expressed confidence in this new endeavour.
To jump start Mashramani festivities, Park Vue will be hosting a weekend of activities starting February 20, where patrons can enjoy the hotel’s pool party featuring the Surinamese Melody Makers Brass Band, with the Carlsberg ‘Happy Half Hour’ from noon to 18:00hrs.
On February 21, the hotel will launch its “Mash Up the Bank Celebrations” with performances from Sammy Baksh and Jomo Primo, among others.
February 22 will have Park Vue’s Chutney concert with performances by Young Bill Rogers and other top local chutney singers.
Events for these pre-Mashramani activities come compliments of Carlsberg Beer.
