The statements attributed to the Deputy French Consul David Bertilli in yesterday’s issue of Kaieteur News and titled ‘French envoy echoes call to defend press freedom’ were in fact made by the Honorary French Consul, Pierre Saint Arroman.
The photograph published within the article is also that of Mr. Saint Arroman, Guyana’s Honorary French Consul for more than a decade.
