All Star chalked up 80 games to win the Amit Ramnarine dominoes competition on Sunday last at Ramnarine residence in Good Success, Wakenaam.
BBM placed second with 78 games, while Sledge Hammer finished third on 76. Mohamed Kalam led All Star with 16 games; he was ably supported by Khemraj Surujpaul, Satnarine Singh and Vijay Persaud, each making 15.
David Lavine made the maximum 18 games for the runner up team and Alex Chung 16. Teniram Ramnarine and Amit Ramnarine marked 17 games apiece for Sledge Hammer. Lavine was given the most valuable player prize, while Suraj (only name) of BBM was the lone love bird.
All Star received a trophy for their efforts. Ramnarine congratulated the winners and said his aim is to reignite the sport on the island.
