Dem boys seh… De world is your own mirror

2014 break Guyana wid dead news. The fuss day was three. De second day was two more. Then late New Year’s night dem boys hear that a big one who was hindering growth in de country drop dead suddenly.
Dem boys hear that de funeral service and viewing was at de Conference Centre. De phone was busy; everybody call fuh ask is who. People call Jagdeo cell phone and get voice mail.  Dem boys hear that Donald Duck start fuh cry but dem boys ain’t certain who he call.
Business people send out invitation to de funeral and dem boys join in the funeral at the conference centre.
“In the beginning, everybody who tun up was sad for the death of one of dem colleagues, but after a while dem start fuh get curious fuh know which one of dem colleagues was hindering growth in de country.
The excitement in the centre was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd inside. Then was time fuh de viewing.
The more people reached the coffin, the more excitement heated up. Everyone thought: “Who is this guy who was hindering our progress? Well, at least he dead now!”
One by one the excited colleagues got closer to the coffin. Uncle Glenn and Uncle Adam been behind dem watching every move, every hand that raise. Uncle Glenn and Uncle Adam stand and watch de people as dem peep in de coffin one by one.
Dem boys see how dem face change and dem become speechless after dem look inside de coffin. Dem stand up near de coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone touched the deepest part of their soul.
After de line hold up a man seh, “Is who? Is nah Jagdeo, Brassington or Ashni because all three of dem deh behind me.
There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see demself. There was also a sign next to the mirror that said: “There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: It is YOU.
You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself. Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes.
Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are de only one responsible for your life.
“The most important relationship you can have, is the one you have with yourself” Examine yourself, watch yourself. Don’t be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner, build yourself and your reality.
The world is like a mirror: It gives back to anyone the reflection of the thoughts in which one has strongly believed. The world and your reality are like mirrors lying in a coffin, which show to any individual the death of his divine capability to imagine and create his happiness and his success. It’s the way you face Life that makes the difference.
