Scotiabank Guyana concluded its annual Christmas donations with charitable contributions to the Alpha Children’s Home, New Amsterdam and the Bless the Children Home, Industry, East Coast Demerara.
Christmas has a particular significance to children, and throughout December, Scotiabank gave away food hampers and presents to 43 children from both homes.
The events were coordinated by the organisation CRCU/CRM team with representatives from both the Georgetown and Berbice branches conducting the handover ceremonies, for their respective branches.
Alpha’s children’s home in particular, houses children with special needs who require special attention.
The Scotiabank team intends to continue similar activities to the children’s home in the New Year.
