The organiser, coordinator and organizing committee of the recently held Guyana Cup Rematch horserace meet has expressed their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the sponsors, members of the public and the various media houses in Guyana who contributed in one way or the other in making their one day horserace meet, which was held on Sunday December 21st 2014 at the Port Mourant Turf Club, Corentyne Berbice, a success.
The members of the management Committee expressed a big thank you Beverage Giants Banks DIH Limited, Jumbo Jet Auto sales, Edward B. Beharry and Company, Sheriff Racing Stable, Poonai & Poonai, Taljit Enterprise, Mark Morgan, Toolsie Persaud LTD, Sankar Auto Works, Atlantic Mining Supply, Colin Elcock Racing Stable, Inshan Bacchus Trucking Service and racing stables, Jumbo Jet Racing Stable, Candy Corner, Asuriea INC Insurance Company, South Land INC, Kris Jagdeo Construction Company, Rising Sun Turf Club and Romel Jagroop Construction Company and Slingers Sound Systems among others.
According to coordinator Nasrudeen (Jumbo Jet) Mohamed Junior, the committee will also like to say special thanks to Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner Brian Joseph and ranks of the Guyana Police Force and look forward for similar support at their next race meet.
