to the various winners in the ‘King of the Rim’ 3×3 Basketball Competition, which concluded last Friday at California Square, East Ruimveldt.
Pitbulls, a configuration out of the Ravens Basketball Club, took the lion’s share of the prizes, carting off $500,000 for winning the competition and $25,000 for joint-zone winners with the runner-up, Pacesetters ‘A’ team.
In addition, Pitbulls’ shooting guard, Ryan Stephney was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) prize for scoring 11 of his team’s 17 points in the final. He received $25,000 and trophy compliments of Mackeson Stout.
The Runner-up, Pacesetters team bounced away with $300,000 and trophy while each zone winner of the four zones, East Coast, West Coast, Georgetown and Linden won $25,000 for topping their respective zones.
