MoH/Health 2000Inc, MoE/Ansa McAl Girls Schools Football Competition…
Both Enterprise and F.E. Pollard will take unbeaten streaks into today’s matchups as the
positioning for semi-final spots take centre stage in this year’s Ministry of Health / Health 2000Inc/Ministry of Education/Ansa McAl Girls Schools Football Competition, at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.
Fresh off some impressive performances, the two schools are strong favourites to contest the final, but would still have to go into their respective encounters with a level of respect for their opponents and not underestimate them.
F.E. Pollard will once again look to the services of Jealena Rollins and Omefia Langellier to preserve their undefeated run, while opponent West Ruimveldt, who were held to a nil-all draw against North Ruimveldt, will no doubt be aiming to become the first team to upset them.
Enterprise the other team with an unblemished record goes up against Tucville and the outcome of this game should be a positive one for the former if one is to judge their outstanding performances throughout the competition to date.
However, at this early level, nothing is certain and they will be advised to come out and play their usual attacking brand of football led by the diminutive Aaliyah Elaine, who netted a hat-trick in their first game last week, while Alliana George is also known to offer solid support.
Tucville gained a walkover last week and so the rest should be good for them.
Today’s fixtures are seen below:
10:00 hrs St. Pius v/s East La Penitence
10:45 hrs St Margaret’s v/s Smith Memorial
11:30 hrs North G / T Primary v/s Stella Marris
12:15 hrs West Ruimveldt v/s F.E. Pollard
13:00 hrs South Ruimveldt v/s St. Stephen’s
13:45 hrs Tucville v/s Enterprise
