Continental Group of Companies under its Continental Foods Inc Sunburst Brand
continues to support the Campton Football Club. Yesterday at the company’s office at Industrial Site Ruimveldt, the entity presented balls, boots and gloves to the club for their participation in the current GFA/Banks Beer tournament.
Sunburst Campton President James Bond thanked the company which also provides refreshments for the team during matches with their Sunburst Orange Juice and its Corporate Secretary Percival Boyce for their continued support, adding that this augurs well for the development of sport in Guyana and Campton FC. He pointed out that the gears were very much needed and every year the club has been the recipient via exclusive sponsorship from Continental Group of Companies for the smooth functioning of the club.
Also Present at the simple ceremony were president of the Campton FC New York chapter, Ralph Green who has been working closely with the company over the years to source the club’s training gears, secretary of Sunburst Campton Ackram Sabree, assistant secretary Afreya Denny, team captain Rishawn Sandiford and marketing manager Khemraj Dhanraj. The team was set to meet Santos FC in their first game of the Banks Beer Cup on Monday.
