Under the Ministry of Public Works road improvement project, the Fourth Road Project for West Coast Demerara (WCD) is set to commence soon as cabinet gave its no objections.
This announcement was made yesterday by Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon as he disclosed several other contracts that have attracted Cabinet’s no objection over the past week.
At the time Dr. Luncheon was addressing members of the media at his weekly press conference. This was disclosed.

The Ministry of Public Works will facilitate the
Fourth road project for the West Coast Demerara road improvement project. This entails the resurfacing of the entire highway from Vreed-en-Hoop to Hydronie, East Bank Demerara Region T-hree.

The National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) last month opened
two bids for the aforementioned project. They are as follows:
