US$$M bids submitted for Sheriff St.- Mandela Ave. project supervision

For the road network upgrade and extension programme, supervision services for the Sheriff Street- Mandela Avenue Roadway Enhancement project, four bids were tendered under the Ministry of Public Works.

The bids were opened yesterday at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), Main and Urquhart Streets.

Stanley Consultants Ltd in association with others US$2.6M (Inclusive all local taxes)
Sheladia Inc in Association with E&A consultants amongst others US$2.3M (Inclusive all local taxes)
Egis International in Association with SRK Engineering US$2.3M

 

Under the same Ministry, bids were tendered for the road improvement and rehabilitation programme- reinforced concrete drains, Providence to Prospect, East Bank Demerara. The bids were divided into two lots (1-B) and Lot (1-C).

In addition, bids were opened for the East Bank Demerara intervention: Cleaning of Highway Ditch, Providence to Diamond.

Meanwhile, the Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IAST) received bids for the supply of office furnishing and computers. The bids were divided into two lots.

The IAST also received a lone bid for the supply of furnishing for a residence.

For the construction of a chain link fence and security huts, another three bids were tendered.

For the installation of a rice cereal plant, a solitary bid was submitted.

In addition, the IAST received two bids for the construction of a factory building.
