TNT chalked up 52 games to win the David Hunte two-in-one-out, four-game dominoes competition on Sunday last at Middle Street, Pourderoyen, West Bank Demerara. Thunder took the runner up spot with 47 games while Mix Up placed third on 40.
Sean Morgan scored 11 and Sonia Goodluck 10 for TNT while Faye Joseph and Jane Chase marked 11 apiece for Thunder. Colin Thomas and Tony Smith made 10 each for Mix Up. TNT collected a trophy and $60,000. Thunder received $30,000 and Mix Up $10,000.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA) Mark Wiltshire and Colin Hicken will be hosting a 21-team one-day tournament on Sunday at Shop Girl, First Street Alexander Village starting from 15:00hrs.
Entrance fee is $10,000 and the winning team will receive a trophy and $120,000, the runner-up a trophy and $60,000 and third place a trophy and $30,000. The competition is being sponsored by F and H Printing Establishment, Faye Joseph and Mannie Shew.
