… over $15M up for grabs
Courts local branch will be launching its annual Big Prize promotion tomorrow with as
much as $15M up for grabs. The furniture and household store has also rolled over several of its earlier promotions, ushering in the season for giving.
With one month to go before the festive season, Courts is launching its ultimate Christmas promotions, some of which began in October. Tomorrow will see the launch of the November promotions.
Last month, the Christmas specials commenced with the paint promotions special where three lucky persons won Harris paints from Courts, while some benefited from the company’s cash back promotions. Customers who spent more than $30,000 were able to get cash back of up to $12,000. While these promotions lasted all throughout October, they will also continue throughout November.
At yesterday’s handing over ceremony which was held at the company’s main store location on Main Street, a Bartica resident was among four recipients of a $400,000 cheque for winning the Courts’ Frigidaire promotions.
One of the winners, Vidwanti Persaud, told Kaieteur News that last Friday she received a call while at home, informing her that she had won the cash. The woman said at first she did not believe and thought someone was playing a prank.
Persaud said she bought a flat screen television and fridge at the Courts Bartica store. She later learnt that she was one of the winners in the promotion. The Bartica resident told the publication that she is currently working on her home and explained that the money would come in handy as part of the completion process.
As part of the upcoming promotions, Courts will also have prizes that include the latest smart phones and more household appliances. Courts’ Public Relations and promotions officer, Roberta Ferguson said that the company is still very excited about the upcoming events that will be held. These include the many road shows, and the Christmas tree light up ceremony, among others.
Persons who also filled out coupons yesterday will have the chance of winning $100,000 in an upcoming draw to be held tomorrow.
