A fine century by Don Brandis guided Fire Service to a 155-run victory over Prison Service when play in the Non Commission Ranks T20 tournament commenced Tuesday last at Police Sports Club ground Eve Leary.
Brandis stroked 16 fours and 4 sixes in an unbeaten 128 as Fire Service amassed 242-2 off 20 overs, batting first. Fenton Saul made 34 (3×4); Gregory Trap and Prince Cox had one wicket each.
Prison Service were bowled out for 87 in 17 overs in reply. Patrick Crawford made 24 (2×4) and Navin Azore 10. Otis Charles grabbed 3-18, Saul 2-12 and Delbert Pitt 2-14 for the winners.
