A release from Roraima Bikers Club (RBC) President, Brian A. Allen, has informed that the 17th Annual Troy Humphrey Memorial cycle race meet scheduled for today at the National Park, has been re-scheduled to 8th November at the original time.
Allen disclosed that, “We were informed this morning (yesterday) that the National Park would be used for the distribution of the $10,000 Education Grants (approx. 5000), and this was scheduled from 900hrs – 1400hrs.”
“After a brief meeting with management of the National Park this morning, it was decided to reschedule the event in the interest of the safety of the cyclists and the crowd that is expected to converge at the National Park,” Allen stated in the release.
