Guyana’s Lionel D’Andrade and Trinidad’s Tonya Nero claimed the respective men’s and
women’s titles in Trinidad and Tobago’s Association for Responsible Persons (TTARP) 5km Road Race at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain.
D’Andrade crossed the finish line in 15:34, while Trinidadians Sherwyn Stapleton was second in 15:50 and Shane Barran (16:04) third. Nero, who will compete tomorrow at the South American 10km Road Race in Guyana, clocked 18:17 to win the female race.
