Relatives of Troy Greendige are seeking the assistance of the public to locate him after he went missing last Wednesday.
Greendige was last seen on Wednesday evening around 20:00hrs in Agricola, East Bank Demerara; with his hair in ‘corn rows’, wearing a blue jersey, three quarter black pants and white and black ‘Nike’ slippers. According to his relatives, the man left his John Fernandes Housing Scheme home on Wednesday night last, to collect the rest of his salary from his place of employ.
“He said he only get half of his pay and that his boss man lives somewhere in Diamond…I don’t know where…he left and never came back”, said the missing man’s mother, Seeta Persaud.
Greendige, a gold miner from Port Kaituma returned to Georgetown on October, 9.
Kaieteur News understands that the missing man has been a resident of Lot 8, John Fernandes housing scheme for several years as he was employed with the company.
The missing man’s mother told this publication that she reported the matter at the Providence Police station.
