A drinking session at Rupununi, Region Nine, has ended with one man dead and another in custody.
According to the police yesterday, investigators are probing the circumstances which led to the death of Wilson James, of Nappi Village, Central Rupununi,
who was discovered dead at his home at about 10:00hrs on Thursday.
The 35-year-old had stab wounds on his body.
Police said that doctors pronounced him dead after he was taken to the Lethem Hospital.
Police yesterday said that James and another man were imbibing at his home on Wednesday night.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
