Final fixed for tomorrow at Cotton Tree
Continuing the trend of taking second level finals to non-first division venues, the Berbice Cricket Board has fixed the 2014 hand-in-Hand Second Division 40-Over Cricket final at the Cotton Tree Ground in West Berbice, a first for that venue, tomorrow the official Eid Holiday.
The two teams batting for supremacy are last year’s losing finalist Hopetown United, who defeated Blairmont Community Centre in their semi-final and D’Edward, who successfully chased down the over 200 run target set by Cotton Tree Die Hard in the other semi-final.
The match is scheduled to start at 11:00 hours.
