The Guyana Mixed Martial Arts Karate Association held its 2nd annual Martial Arts
Exam on last 27th September, at the Black Cobra Karate Club in Parfaite Harmony. All the students changed belts, while four were promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt.
Promoted to Yellow Belt were Nathan Samaroo, Brandon DeNobrega, Nikita Ghanie, Kian Koodralli, Sachin Singh, Deonarine Brandon Dindial, Jonathon Sooklall, Joshua Sooklall, Shiloh Sydney, Mondale Marques, Nicholas Ramkissoon, Jarrar Ramnarine, Priyanka Deolall, Somesh Banasa, Brandon Deolal.
Promoted to Orange belt were Sayad Bacchus, Mark Ramotar, Jessica Persaud, while Toshan Jamuna was promoted to Blue belt.
Junior Adonis was promoted to Green Belt and Zafar Ramnarine was promoted to 3rd Kyu Brown.
Promoted to 1st Dan Black belt were, Sheena Jacobis, Krishna Jacobis, Portia Schepmyer and Calvin Ramcharran.
