Inter-Mandir T10 KO Softball slated for West Berbice

Goodwill Promotions will be promoting for the first time in West Berbice a Ten10 softball cricket competition in memory of the late Sukhu and Sumintra Bulkan, formerly of Woodley Park Village.
This competition will see teams from various Mandirs across West Berbice taking part.  According to the coordinators, the event will be played on weekends at the Woodley Park Sports Club ground and there will be cash and trophies for the winning and runner-up teams along with the best bowler, best batsman, man-of-the-series and man-of-the-final.
According to the release no entrance fees will be charged. The competition will be starting on October 12 and interested Mandirs are asked to register early by contacting the coordinators on  684 3293 or e-mail at [email protected].
Interested Mandir teams are also invited to an important meeting on Monday October 6 from 15:30hrs at the Woodley Park Sports Club Pavilion. The competition which is sponsored by the grand children of the late Sukhu and Sumintra Bulkan will be played using round arm bowling action and extra’s will be played.
