Carib Beer first division T20 cricket action commenced Saturday last in the Ancient County with victories for West Berbice, Young Warriors, Rose Hall Town Gizmos & Gadgets, D’Edward and Edinburgh.
Performing outstandingly with the bat was all-rounder Eon Abel of D’Edward, who smashed 83 (7×4 6×6) to shape his side’s 7-wicket win over Bush Lot Rising Star, Abdool Subhan chipped in with 36. Bush Lot Rising Star had posted 151-6 in 20 overs, Somdat Bharrat made 61 (4×4 3×6) and Akeem Miller 40 (5×4 1×6).
