Regal got the better of 4R Masters by two wickets when the Ramchand/Rohan Auto Spares softball tournament continued on Sunday at Demerara Cricket Club.
4R Masters took first strike and scored 173 all out in 20 overs. Wayne Jones slammed 78 and Ricky Deonarine 43. The pair resurrected the innings after their team was reduced to 29-2 with a third wicket stand of 99. Mahendra Arjune claimed 2-17, Troy Kippins 2-18 and Clyde Butts 2-41.
Regal replied with 179-6 in 16.3 overs. Eric Thomas led with 62; Seeraj Satro scored 47 and Eon Abel 38. Clyde Canterbury picked up 3-24.
