A fine all-round performance by Trevor Benn propelled Police to 34-run win over Prison Service when the Joint Service
all ranks T20 tournament continued on Sunday last at Police Sports Club ground Eve Leary.
Benn slammed three fours and a similar number of sixes in a top score of 63 as Police rattled up 163 all out in 20 overs, taking first strike. Seon Daniels supported with 26 (3×6) and Troy Benn made 18. Selbourne Mc Allister snared 4-29, Martin Rajmangal 3-25 and Carlton Cameron 2-18. Prison Service replied with 129-7 in 20 overs. Rajmangal cracked 80 with nine fours and one six. Quain Proctor, who effected five dismissals behind the stumps, was the only other batsman to manage double figures with 10 as Benn showed his ability with ball, picking up 4-20.
