The New Building Society (NBS) second division 40-Over cricket competition in Berbice continued recently with
Deonarine Sobhai hitting 121 (19×4 2×6) for Betsy Ground Triple Star to become the batsman with the highest individual score in the competition.
He teamed up with Ramnarine Jugisteer who hit 67 to put on 180 for the 4th wicket as Betsy Ground posted 268 in 30 overs against Gangaram Strykers. Jusgister came back with the new ball to take 4-19 orchestrating Gangaram’s demise for 188.
