Victoria Kings maintained their dominance in pole position when play in the Stag Beer sponsored East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) Senior League second-round action continued over the weekend.
Seasoned campaigners Winston Pompey and Aubrey Gibson were the players who guided the Kings to victory with respective first half efforts.
Pompey hit the network in the 18th minute with Gibson doubling the advantage and securing full points in the 36th minute.
The other game that was contested saw Buxton United and Mahaica Determinators battling to a 0-0 stalemate.
Play will continue on Saturday at the Buxton ground when Buxton Stars face Golden Stars in opening play at 14:00hrs, the main attraction features Buxton United and BV Triumph United.
