Robberies appear to be commonplace. In the coming days gunmen are going to attack some business places in the city and its environs. Security cameras would make the police realize that one particular group would be very busy.
There would be arrests, but for some strange reason the victims would be unable to pick out the perpetrators.

A case of child abuse would take an ugly turn. A man would molest his own daughter but the story would only come to light when the authorities intervene. They are going to investigate a case of abuse when they learn about the sexual assault.

The medical situation is going to threaten the capability of the various health centres. Three conditions are hitting Guyana hard, but most of the victims are going to believe that they are suffering from the exotic disease, Chikungunya. In fact many would be suffering from a flu that mimics the exotic disease.
And people are now wondering if they would be exposed to the deadly Ebola virus given that there seem to be no checks and balances.
