Quick witted traffic ranks intercepted a hit and run driver who was involved in accident
at the corner of Vlissengen Road and Hadfield Street.
The driver struck the back of a scooter which was proceeding east along Hadfield Street. At the time the motorcyclist was transporting a case of aerated drinks on his cycle. He received injuries to his hand and head.
The police quickly tracked the car and forced the driver to return to the scene.
