Did you know that five Guyanese represented the Caribbean Union Team against Kwang Tung Province in November 1978?
Did you know that Guyanese Earl O’Neal, Clyde Watson, Keith Niles, Maurice Enmore and Clive Nedd proudly represented the Caribbean Union Team against the touring Chinese Province Kwang Tung November 1978 at the world famous GCC Bourda.
Kwang Tung Province won that historic clash, 1-nil, through a fourth minute strike by the elusive Lu-Chi-Yuan. This was the tourist third victory after defeating Barbados, 2-nil, in Bridgetown and thrashing the Guyana National Team, 4-nil, at the Mackenzie Sports Club. Kwang Tung Province also drew Nil all with Barbados.
