THE President and Executives of the Berbice Cricket Board has extended congratulations to Clive Hubert Lloyd on his recent appointment as the chief selector of The West Indies Cricket Board. In an invited comment, Anil Beharry, First Vice President, said that the BCB is confident that Lloyd will play a significant role in returning the team to its former glory, the same he did when he molded the team into an unbeatable unit during his stint as the captain.
Beharry continued by saying that the BCB has tremendous respect for Mr Lloyd first as a cricketer and an administrator and his statistics has vindicated that, with 110 test matches scoring 7515 runs at an average of just under 50 including 19 centuries and 39 fifties stretching over two decades. Congrats once more to Mr Clive Hubert Lloyd, a true son of Guyana and The West Indies.
