Guyana heading into new hands and de Guyanese people ain’t got no say. De other day a company announce that it providing exceedingly fast bandwidth. Dem boys always hear bout lightning fast DSL. That is wha GT&T was always preaching. But when dem see wha this new company launch is then dem realize that something really happen.
Is then dem understand wha dem boys was telling dem when de government decide to sell de 20 per cent it had in GT&T. Dem boys seh that de people ain’t see nutten yet. Jagdeo was no fool when he decide to spend hundreds of millions of dollars fuh bring that cable from Brazil and mek de nation pay for it. That cable is to bring e-governance and fuh mek de police get connection all over de country.
Bobby start fuh sell bandwidth and dem boys seh that is only a matter of time before dey selling to everybody. Then de government gun also buy. A pastor tell dem boys that these things will come to pass. That is when dem gun see that a new company gun be formed –Rat-Roop Group of Companies.
Well dem boys seh that dem gun wake and find that de whole of Guyana could name Rat-Roop because Jagdeo did set de stage when he was in office. When he give away dem radio licence and dem television licence, de plan was fuh see de Rat-Roop Group tek off.
Poor Donald; he inherit this situation and he ain’t even know wha going on. As people would seh, he sailing. De Amerindian Affairs Minister was more than sailing. She suppose to represent she people, but when Bai Shan Lin fail to pay dem, de people complain to she. Fuh one whole year she ain’t do nutten and de people eventually tun to de Waterfalls paper.
This week Bai Shan Lin pay dem Amerindians and run to tell dem reporters,”Hey, We pay dem.”  But elections coming and de same Minister gun run to dem workers and beg dem to vote fuh she government.
Dem boys hope that dem gun see de workers treat dem like how dem farmers does treat cow dung – tun de bottom up-and plant something.
Talk half and watch out fuh de Rat-Roop Group.
