Budhan Memorial Turf Club Horse Race on this Sunday

Race horses are expected to be back on the track this Sunday when the Budhan Memorial Turf Club stages their grand one-day meet at the Club’s Track, No. 66 Village, Corentyne, Berbice.
Six races are listed for the day with three races for horses classified J, one for K and two unclassified.
The K class event will be going for a mile with the remainder being 6 F events. The race for horses classified J1 and Lower will see the winner taking home 120,000. The winner of the J2 and Lower event will collect $100,000.
J3 and Lower horses will compete for first prize of $90,000. The K and Lower race has a first prize of $80,000 at stake. The final two races are for unclassified animals one and two. Gallop time is 13:00hrs.
