Dear Editor
It finally seems as if the PPP is coming around to our
perspective on things that they have run out of ideas. So badly now they are looking to form some coalition with a Gullible Crew from China.
Before they go, however, we must extend a message of gratitude them.
Thank you PPP for neglecting the poor and working class.
Thank you PPP for taking away hope from many of our young people who work in indentured conditions.
Thank you PPP for running the sugar industry into the ground and making a mess of approximately fifty thousand lives, children included.
Thank you PPP for taking away the Berbice steamer and robbing Berbicians every time they cross the Berbice bridge every day.
Thank you PPP for the chaos, mismanagement and filth you have introduced into our cities and towns by denying local government elections.
Thank you PPP for fattening your banks accounts while half the population barely manages to get by.
Thank you PPP for giving away our natural resources.
Thank you PPP letting half of our children graduate semi-ignorant without much of a chance for getting a job that’s not there.
Thank you for the increase in crime, from which our citizens have had no greater example than yourselves.
Thank you PPP for allowing money laundering to be carried on over the decades, and for creating the illusion of progress with the massive boom in construction in Georgetown at least. Without it, many of your friends would have been much poorer.
Thank you PPP for leading Guyana on an adventure into narcotics and easy money.
Thank you PPP for showing us that a lack of education and good character are not barriers to getting a job in your administration.
Thank you PPP for Norman Whittaker, Carol Sooba and Luncheon.
Thank you PPP for showing us that you can bend the Justice system to cramp Parliamentary procedures.
Thank you PPP for throwing the PPC bill and all the others the President has not assented to into Haag Bosch. At least we know you patronized the new dumpsite.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Craig Sylvester.
