Activities are being conducted under the mission statement, a quote from Edison Arantes do Nascimento aka Pele, “Success is no accident, it is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do”.
The pivotal objective of the programme is to increase participation in grassroots, youth and outreach football programmes across Guyana.
Officials are also intent on promoting the development of football while committing to creating opportunities for young footballers. Further, the programme is meant to provide support to member associations to organize players in the promotion of football within the country while improving the knowledge and competencies of those youngsters in the area of football development.
