Dear Editor,
One of my neighbours in Tenth Avenue, Diamond Housing Scheme, seems to have no regard for the Grove/Diamond NDC’s parapet area, nor pride for the front of their premises. They have dumped a load of sand, along with pieces of wood with nails in at least one piece, on the parapet, along with broken bottles, apparently in an attempt to cause harm to their immediate neighbour.
Editor, this very neighbour was once quite vocal about individuals encumbering the parapets and streets.
NDC officials paid a visit to the said area on July1, and took pictures of the offending obstructions, which also affect other road users. However, this neighbor has not sought to have the parapet cleared, which suggests that he is defiant of the law.
No doubt the NDC, being apparently without a firm leader, will have to hold a Special Committee Meeting, and a Special Statutory Meeting, etc, to decide that this unsightly encumberance shout be removed.
Frustrated resident
